Shabat Shalom Match Holder
An sterling silver Shabbat matchbox holder. This matchbox holder is shaped as a U with two flat rectangles parallel to each other, connected a bit above the ground by another smaller rectangle, creating the perfect space for inserting an ordinary matchbox. Both rectangular plaques depict a ritual of the Jewish Shabbat Kiddush ceremony; one is of a woman lighting the Sabbath candles and the other is of a man blessing on the wine and on the bread (Challah).
